Information Standards and guidelines under development

An Information Standard is developed in response to a:

Cabinet decision / Legislative requirement;
CEO Governance Committee request; or
Whole-of-Government ICT initiative or management requirement.

Once a Government ICT policy officer is identified to coordinate the development process, the Queensland Government Chief Information Office will email agency Information Standards Officers (ISOs) and other relevant agency contact groups seeking nominations for the formation of a cross-agency working group to develop a draft standard.

IS44	Information Custodianship	Consultation	This Standard establishes principles for the custodianship of information assets across Queensland Government agencies.
IS46	Use of Copyright Materials	Scoping and drafting	This Standard defines Queensland Government agency requirements regarding their copyright use obligations under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and whole-of-Government arrangements.
